The yin-yang of it.

Africa is the world’s second-largest and second-most-populous continent.
At about 11.7 million sq miles (4.247 sq kilometer) including adjacent islands, it covers 6 % of the Earth’s total surface area and 20.4 % of the total land area.
With nearly 1.0 billion people, it accounts for about 14.72% of the world’s human population.
Africa has 54 fully recognized sovereign states (“countries”), 9 territories and three de facto states with limited recognition.
Africa is considered by most paleoanthropologists to be the oldest inhabited territory on Earth, with the human species originating from the continent.

As the second-largest continent, Africa is one of the largest supplier of raw materials and natural resources in the world.

Yin

One should expand trade that creates jobs as this is the only way
  • to alleviate poverty;
  • to contribute to economic growth;
  • to increase life expectancy;
  • to nurture democracy and free societies;
  • to strengthen governance.

Yang

Doing so has a positive effect as
  • one settles populations locally due to an increase of welfare;
  • the search for a better future ending in illegal immigration is tackled without repressive measures;
  • trade benefits enhance the economics at home;
  • home employment opportunities grow along;
  • there is a better harmony in the Gobal Village.
Wishing you a successful and inspired new year in 2020!

Quote
“The Pentacle - The ancients envisioned their world in two halves - masculine and feminine. Their gods and goddesses worked to keep a balance of power. Yin and Yang. When male and female were balanced, there was harmony in the world. When they were unbalanced there was chaos.” -- Dan Brown, The Da Vinci Code
